Actor Katherine Heigl appeared on 'Live with Regis and Kelly' Monday morning to promote her new film, Life as We Know It. In the interview, she said that her new movie is her favorite film project so far.
Ms. Heigl stars with Josh Duhamel in the picture directed by Greg Berlanti. The story is a romantic comedy about a man and woman who do not like each other but who are both left as legal guardians for their best friends' child.
The actor said that even though the movie is a romantic comedy, the premise arises out of a serious place, and the story addresses some real-life issues that can result when tragedy strikes. She said she filmed the movie around the same time as she was adopting her own child, so many of the emotions audiences will see her go through in the film were very close to her own experience.
